I remember Janice and I only ran into her in Winnipeg a few times. She was a beautiful person and the very definition of a free spirit. my condolences to her family

I would like to let everyone know that my beautiful, brilliant sister Janice passed away peacefully on December 29 th. She was surrounded by love, music, friends and family , and she was at home. My mother, her husband Gary and I were by her side when she died. We had a Celebration Of Life for her on February 2 nd. It was a wonderful celebration, attended by 150 people, including Robin Agardy Kilistoff, Wayne Helgason, and Clancy Robinson. She will be greatly missed.

Those lovely signatures on the library card are from high school students at the time. You may not recognise them if you didn't know the person, so here they are: Joanne Cheverie, Barbara Houston, Marna Elliot, Bev Whitchurch, Heather Coleman, S. Hoyland, Donna Thompson, Vicky Clark, Gwen Marquis, Nancy Robertson, Sandra Nichol, Pat Laverty, C. Rowland, L. Forke, Nancy Robertson (she must have liked the story), Barb Gork and Pauline McMullen. The dates of the signatures are October 28, 1965 - September 13, 1966. If you remember these young ladies, please make a comment.
No male names here, what were you reading then?

Our sincere thanks to all of those who sent notes via email, guestbook and Facebook. Andrew's celebration of life was held in Arizona and the next phase of his journey is underway. No doubt he is somewhere going flat out and being Andrew. Take care

Ian, Rob, Bronwen and Glynys

Ian, so sorry my friend, Andy and I worked together in the CE section in 74-75 and we hung around together, I was military and we partied together quite a bit. We kept in contact over the years and just recently had a chat thru FB. I will miss him for sure

I regret to advise the Shilobrats community of the passing of my younger brother, Andrew (Andy) Malcolm. My "little brother" lived in Shilo and then Brandon from 1965 for over 20 years. He attended PEHS where he starred as an excellent all round athlete in football, hockey and golf. Andrew lived life as hard as he could and went out as he preferred. I will miss him but never forget.

He asked me to inform his old friends from the Shilo days and this seemed the best way to honour that request. Condolences are not required but if you have a story about Andy feel free to comment. Life can bring pain but my brother did his best to enjoy his moment.

Ian Malcolm
PEHS 1968
