Comments: Hi all; It is sad news indeed that the 2020 Reunion is cancelled! Speaking from experience, I know commmittee’s work hard to put on these events. Thanks to thecommittee for trying. As you know there is a Shilo Brat Reunion in Gananoque just outside of Kingston on July 26, perhaps, some of you that were planning on attending Winnipeg next summer could come here. I was talking to the boat and hotel people this morning. For those of you who have not booked your room or booked the boat cruise, you need to know there are only 30 seats left on the 160 passenger boat, there are only 14 rooms left in the hotel.
So unless you want to be a swimmer sleeping in the park you had better book things fast, they tell me bookings are starting to come in faster!!
Comments: Hi there! I may have written in the guestbook before... I can't remember (because I'm getting old, lol!). My dad, David Francis, was camp commander from 1967-69 (I think) and our family lived at 1 Royal Place during that time. I went to grade 1 at Princess Elizabeth and Grade 2 at O'Kelly. My sister Jane is 8 years older and was in high school. I had friends on Sapper Ave. (including the Oulettes and the McClellands, who I saw mentioned in the gallery). So much fun to reminisce about Shilo and what a great place to be a kid.
