When Judy Hummel asked Edie if she could do a print version of the Reunion 2018 Special Edition posted on ShiloBrats, Edie found it could conveniently be produced as a coffee table quality book for a reasonable price at her local Costco photo service. It also allowed her to add additional photos from the 60's to further enhance the stories. So much better than trying to read all the copy online, and easier to show friends and family when telling them what a great weekend it was. The books are produced to order and can be picked up and paid for at your local Costco (for members) or ordered and mailed to you by Edie. For details and order information, see What's New.

Hi all

We have decided to move the Boat Cruise to Gananoque. Gan is only 18 miles from Kingston.

The date of the cruise will now be July 26th. The boat line is called Gananoque Boat Lines and the Hotel is Howard Johnson’s if you want to look them up.

Cruise is $49.95 plus tax for a two hour cruise dinner and entertainment. To book Gananoque Boat Lines # 888-717-4837, which boards at 6:30 pm on July 26th .The entertainment is oldies music and they are good, I have seen them before.

The hotel $114 and up depending on the room you want. Hotel is Howard Johnson's 613-417-1215 use this instead of 800 # Room Rates 2 queens $114 2 queens deluxe $143 3 queens $159. We want to be in the building that is closest to the office.

YOU MUST!!! Look after booking your cruise and room. When booking your cruise and hotel you MUST book it in the next two weeks in order to save a spot on the boat and in the hotel. This is a very busy tourist town! We have asked them to hold 10 rooms for now.

So come on brats get your brat holiday booked!!!

If you don’t book early you could be swimming alongside the boat or sleeping in the park.

Please let me know if you will be attending

Bill Brown

Thank you Doug for the confirmation.

I haven't been posting much at all on this wonderful and important site and I missed a wonderful Winnipeg reunion. I have been dealing with cancer of the esophagus for several years.

I'm doing okay at the moment and hope to be out checking on our mascots, my skink buddies, this summer.

Hi
My name is Suzanne (Sue) Perron and I lived in Shilo at the age of 7-8-9..
My four brothers and I, Paul, Art, Bob and baby Mike, lived in Shilo from
1956 to 1959. My dad was CO, Colonel A C Perron and we lived at 17 Sapper.
It was the CO residence at the time as the current one was not built yet.
Sapper was the last street in the camp as the entrance was from the other
side of camp. Our back yard gave onto the prairie where we often picnicked
amongst 3 rows of small pine tries, probably recently planted. I remember
when the prairie was full of colourful crocuses in spring. I think it is
farm land now I guess. We also played on the huge snow banks on the road
leading to the small airport and parachute practice jump (it was a dirt
road). I am wondering about my best friends from those days. Maybe you have
a list of members. We all lived on Sapper : Jane Liston, Jean Carpenter,
Joceline Amireault, Jacky Malory, Jane Hipwell, Vivian Drury ... Anyways,
if you have any leads let me know. Also I have a few pictures but don't know
how to attach them here!
