what does everyone think of having the reunion in Kingston on July 23rd, which is a Tues. I figure we are all retired or can get the time off with notice. There is a special 50's & 60's Theme night on the dinner cruise that night.

Floyd, Will here. ...Hmmmn do not know about the invisible ink. Musta been a problem on my other iPads. Same as my last posts. Chuckle. Lots of typ ‘o’. Was a many hat computer ‘techie’ after my second retirement and that’s how I larned all that typo stuff when I had to rely on ‘Microsoft’ spell checker. My iPads are not much improvememt although the actual iPads are quite a bit of much improvement. ..........I was out of touch for a bit for sure. .....I see there are other Shilo brats here and indeed on the west coast. ...Funny that I went thru RCAF training and Fire College with a chap by name of Al Russel and a very good friend but he was a ‘gentleman’ (wink wink) of the RCAF same as myself. We are all brothers in arms for sure including Army and Navy. I was an Army brat for years. ....I retired once more about seven years ago and although we still spend a lot of time with children my lovely wife and I do try to take time out for a cruise or a trip to see family. I do the fly fishing thing and am a gardener and landscaper and as well have always had and build or maintain a old classic muscle car. ....We do not travel much. There is so much to enjoy right here at home and around us. We are older now so I guess we have mellowed out. We get to Alberta once or twice a year and visit our two boys and their children. .....If I remember do you not have a brother named Danny? My brother Larry and I brought up his name in regard to Shilo memories. ....Being a bit long winded here so I will close for now. Be safe and look after your self. Hoorah for Shilo Brats.

Hi Floyd. ...Will here. ...Things are fine here on th Island. Was 11 Celsius here this aft.. A bit of rain and cloudy skies. ....Pretty tough tho, shovelling the flowers off the driveway. ....We had a large family as well and all are back East (Halifax) where our family settled after my Dad retired and left Shilo in early 1960’s. ....Oldest brother Ernie passed on in ‘86. At sea. .Two sisters now passed as well. Only the seven bros left now. ..I am oldest now at 70. How time flies. A long way from kicking the can and Hop A Long Cassidy cap Huns and holsters for sure when we played in good ‘ol Shilo. My nephew had a career in PPCLI and spent several years in Shilo and Brandon. Good heath to you. BTW I see Al Russel posted. He mentioned he worked in Halifax on the Submarines. My brother Brent( a Shilo brat/born there) worked many years on the new Subs as a player/jointer. Still there and not quite retired as yet. Ever hear anything on Chris Evoy? We were pals. .....Two soms are in Hrande Prairie working on Oil/Gas. ..They do not seem to complain about the cold. I always like warmer weather and you know how cold Shilo winters were so I elected to make my home here on Bancouver Island. Lotus Land......

Hi all you Sixties Brats out there!!! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and pray you have a healthy New Year!!

For those making travel plans this summer, there will be a mini reunion in Kingston this summer, possibly the weekend before the Civic Holiday. It would be great to see people drop in on their travels, as well as the ones who don't have so far to travel.

Look to this webpage for further details.

Bill Brown
